Rezension:
„For urban-legend hunter and television host Gabe Powers, it’s business—investigate the most notorious haunted places in Savannah. Then he meets his new sound engineer, a dewy Georgia peach who may just turn this gig into (im)pure pleasure. All it takes is one night for them to conjure floor-rattling, wall-banging moans…but they’re not from the ghosts. Blame the rippling abs, the cocky swagger, the granite jawline, the whole muscle-bulging package, but Gabe is bringing out good-girl Lily Jameson’s dirty side. Damn her code-of-conduct contract—this isn’t just a molten-hot fling.
There’s just one kink in the relationship they’ve been avoiding: soon they’ll be going their separate ways. Lily’s home is in Savannah, and Gabe is a globe-trotter at heart. For them to be together, they’ll both have to upend their so-very-different worlds and face their fears in the process. And suddenly things don’t feel so Georgia peachy keen at all.“
Do You Feel It Too is the newest book by Nicola Rendell. I really loved this book and enjoyed every single page in it. This book! There is just something special about it. I can not say exactly what it is that got me so hooked on this book or why it's so special to me, it's just that. The characters Gabe and Lily are in love from the first second. Their way makes them adorable for the reader. But sometime in the course of the book, something happened and I was literally addicted to Gabe. And it is precisely this something that makes it difficult to describe this or even to bring about a halfway understandable review.
Gabe never thought to follow the path of a TV star, but at some point he joined his manager, and since then, he just loves this job. He travels the world searching out urban legends. Gabe’s current project is researching the ghosts of Savannah, Georgia. Only it’s not a ghost encounter that set Gabe’s world off it’s axis, it was a collision, literally, with a beautiful woman.
Lily spent her entire life in Savannah and lives on the upper floor of a large house. While her sister lives in the house with her child. Lily does not go on dates and dedicates her life to her job as a sound engineer. The main reason that she has no dates is her gray parrot, which she inherited from her grandmother. This parrot is so amazing, is no ordinary parrot, and also loves his Lily!
The first encounter of Lily and Gabe was a little uncomfortable, at least for him. which gave them a direction that was not to be expected either for them or for the reader. The mood between the two was hot and charged from the beginning. it crackled and tingled all the time. Gabe was forced to find out why this was because he just could not get that woman out of his head anymore. That's why he just likes that he needs a sound engineer and therefore hire Lily to work for him. Then everything goes pretty fast and the two get closer. Gabe is hot and not only in his job but also in bed. He is the boss there and he seduces Lily to dare to do things that would never have seemed possible to her in her wildest dreams. she discovers in herself a little perverted girl that likes all the filthy things he does with her. But she can not believe and understand why he is so interested in her, because as a TV star, he knows completely different women and has the opportunity to have them instead of her. She decides to use and enjoy the time with him because she knows there is an expiration date and he will go back to his real life far away from her.
This book had just everything, it was sensual, erotic, seductive, funny, loving and characters that you just can not and do not want to forget. Gabe was just a dream. He was all bossy alpha but was also about the sweetest man. And Lily, she was so sweet, but also had just enough spine as well.
This book is really in a position to make the Ereader go up in smoke when reading, to rewrite it and to respect the youth protection. Ending with a sweet and satisfying epilogue, you’ve got the perfect afternoon read.
If you like a really erotic book and also like dirty talk, this book is just right. but a little warning to all single ladys out there ... such a type as gift I have not found in real life unfortunately and I still dream that they really exist. the men who know what women like and want and take whatever they want.
I give this book 4.5 / 5 stars.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book provided by NetGalley and Montlake Romance.
