Review:
I received this book for a review by Netgalley and the Independent Book Publishers Association to read it before publishing and to give my honest opinion. I have already read the first part of the series and was already thrilled and caught. This time, the events surrounding Becca are even more intense and she learns to use her powers. now that she knows what she is capable of and she has only a short time to do whatever is necessary. Traveling with Lochlan to the Shadowlands to help her learn what she's capable of is not an easy task. It's not safe out there, but thankfully, they've got a bit of an ally in Fen. Fen has been stuck there after being banished for too many years to count. Becca promises she will get him out of there one day. Morgan is biding her time and we the readers can only hope that between Becca, Lochlan, and the rest of the Hunt, she can be stopped. Becca's personality, she's honest, straight to the point, and super fun. While character development in the first book of the duet was good, Twilight Siege brings all of the characters that I have come to love full circle. Seeing characters come into their own really allows me to become attached to them. The way Jill Ramsower describes the characters and the realistic depiction make it incredibly easy for the reader to identify with them, and that's what makes a good book. So I really wanted to be able to read more books in this series and perhaps the author will one day do it and write more if she sees how successful and popular these books are. because even the secondary characters still have their stories to tell. The story was original. I loved this duet.
