the cover is beautiful.
Review:
This book is not only reminiscent of Fifty Shades of Gray, it seems to copy this formally and in some places to be better. The author even points out the book in his. The parallels were way too big in my opinion, whether it was the character, the frame story. I found FSoG already boring and the people in it implausible. Not to mention the films, which were a single boring catastrophe. This book could have been so much more. There are countless books in this genre that are written much better, with interesting stories and characters. That really disappointed me, it was nothing new, nothing exciting. The protagonist Vivienne is just a little stupid naïve girl with a penchant for self-destruction, who takes the complete control of her life from a rich macho. I lacked plausibility and reality in many places. Unfortunately I can give 3 out of 5 stars with much good will. And that's especially because the cover is beautiful.
Many thanks to Netgalley and Booksgosocial Publishing and the author. A little tip to the author sometimes is a little less wanted just more.
